The Story of the Pumpkin

Want to know how fresh your desserts are here at Le Coq d’Or? Check out the story of the pumpkins that are used in our truly decadent Walnut Pumpkin Cheesecake made with pumpkins harvested at Chateau des Fleurs.

We begin with a fresh from the vine pumpkin from our gardens. That pumpkin is then carefully trimmed and sliced into smaller chunks by Chef David Williams. Next, the chunks are put into a steamer to soften the meat. After a bit of time softening up, they are then rendered into a secret Le Coq d’Or cheesecake recipe.

The Walnut Pumpkin Cheesecake is then topped with fluffy whipped cream, walnuts, and garden picked mint.
